ACADEMIC/BEHAVIOR INSTRUCTION

⦁Summit Platform: Personalized learning platform to meet each student’s individual needs to help them make academic progress
⦁My Life, My Choice: All sophomore girls, taking care of your own choices and body, lower chance for risky sexual behaviors, providing consent, etc.
⦁Operation Making a Change: Targeted groups of students who come from at-risk families who receive intervention for making life changes
⦁Blue Cards: Academic and Behavior Cards to provide reinforcement for meeting pre-established goals
⦁Targeted Extended School Services for students who need extra help with academics
⦁Dual Credit/Early College free to all students
⦁Academic and Behavior Response to Intervention (ABRI) team meets monthly to review student data and progress based on school universal screeners
⦁May Term is offered for students that are significantly ahead of their platform or significantly behind an intense support to earn extra credits or get caught up

SOCIAL EMOTIONAL SUPPORTS

⦁ Family Resource Center Coordinator
⦁ School Social Worker
⦁ Kentucky Counseling Center (both buildings)
⦁ Mandatory staff of 2 counselors at each building
⦁ Mentoring for all students to provide 1:1 time with an adult
⦁ Jobs for American Graduates (JAGS) teaching soft skills, advocacy and empowerment, community services, exposure to a variety of resources
⦁ Mental Health service providers provide blended lessons within classroom environment

ACCESS TO OPPORTUNITY

⦁ Community Work-based Transition Program: opportunity for career exploration, future planning, and post-secondary supports that may be needed
⦁ Panther Enrichment Program: week long access to community programs
⦁ Dual Credit/Early College free to all students
⦁ Jobs for American Graduates (JAGS) teaching soft skills, advocacy and empowerment, community services, exposure to a variety of resources
⦁ Internship: all graduating seniors must complete a career based internship and project as part of graduation requirement
⦁ Operation Preparation Week: graduating seniors participate in a job college fair to complete applications, develop resumes, apply for scholarships to college or career
⦁ Partnership with Franklin Co. Schools for utilization of Area Career Technology Center
⦁ Partnership with Franklin Co. Schools for Junior ROTC
⦁ Military and College representatives visit multiple times a month to offer information to students about post-secondary opportunities
